Description
If the goal is to be the most noticeable person at the party, lights are the shortest route, and this JOYIN jumper is a proper example of the type rather than a token string of LEDs.
The bulbs are built into the knit and run through six different light modes, so you can pick between a steady glow and something considerably more aggressive depending on the room and how much you want to be looked at.
Practical notes
- The steady mode matters more than you think. A jumper flashing on a two-second cycle in an open-plan office wears thin by about eleven in the morning.
- Battery packs on light-up jumpers routinely arrive half-drained from storage. Buy fresh cells before the day and carry spares.
- Do not size up. The wiring is fixed to a panel in the knit, so an oversized light-up jumper sags and distorts the pattern.
Our guide to what goes wrong with light-up jumpers covers the rest, including the washing machine problem.
