Where the classic version plays the imagery straight, this one is deliberately, committedly ugly — which is the entire founding principle of the category and the thing that actually wins competitions. Judges do not reward tasteful.
The all-over 3D print covers the whole garment, front, back and sleeves, so it reads as a full costume from across a room rather than as a sweatshirt with a picture on it.
Worth knowing
- Sizes S–3XL, running small — check the chest measurement rather than the letter
- Polyester blend, smooth handle, lighter and cooler than real knit
- Wash inside out and cool to protect the print
Choose this one if there is a prize at stake. If the jumper also has to survive lunch with your in-laws, the classic graphic version is the safer half of the same range.
