Description
A hooded Christmas jumper, which sounds obvious and almost nobody makes.
The hood is the reason to consider it. Most Christmas jumpers are crewnecks, which means anything outdoors in December requires a coat over the top and the jumper stops being visible — the entire point of it, gone. A hoodie survives a walk to the pub, an outdoor market or a school gate on its own.
Choose this if
- Your December involves being outside: markets, carol singing, football, waiting for people
- You want an oversized fit you can layer under, which also makes it comfortable indoors
- You like the western styling, which is a genuine departure from the usual Fair Isle and reindeer
Against it: a hoodie reads as casual, and some offices treat one as not having dressed up at all. It is also less obviously Christmassy than a snowflake pattern, so check the graphic actually says December in the photographs.
Fleece at $27.98 is fair value. It is warm, it washes well, and the print will hold up for several seasons on a cold cycle.
