Western and Christmas is not an obvious pairing, which is exactly why it works.
Nearly everything in this category is Santa, snowflakes, reindeer or a slogan. A cowboy Christmas print is different enough that people look at it twice, and looking twice is most of what a novelty jumper is trying to achieve.
