Description
A gift with an obvious recipient: the person in your life who plays, watches or drives to hockey four nights a week.
Sport-specific Christmas jumpers are one of the few categories where narrowness is an advantage rather than a problem. A generic reindeer says nothing about the wearer; this says something true about them, which is why sports jumpers get worn in years two and three when generic ones do not.
Worth knowing
- Red, which happens to be the right colour for both Christmas and a great many hockey clubs
- Printed crewneck, so it is comfortable for spectating in a heated arena and easily layered under a coat for a cold one
- Useless as an ugly jumper competition entry — it is too tidy and too tasteful to win anything
At $64.99 it is the seller's flat rate. That is a fair price for something the recipient will actually wear again, and a poor one for a jumper worn to a single party — which is really a question about who it is for.
If you want the multi-sport version, Tstars' Santa Sports jumper covers hockey, basketball and golf at once. For layering it for an outdoor fixture, see layering for outdoor Christmas events.
