Oversized is the cut, not an accident, and that changes how you buy it.
Most of our sizing advice is to go up one, because print-heavy brands cut small. Here the garment is already drafted large, so adding a size gets you something that falls off the shoulder rather than something roomy. Take your usual size and check the measurement.
The oversized silhouette is doing real work beyond fashion. It goes over a long-sleeved top or a shirt without pulling, which extends it from a party garment to something you can wear on a cold day, and it is far more comfortable in a heated room than a fitted knit.
Worth knowing
- Do not size up unless you want it deliberately enormous
- Printed graphic: cool wash inside out, no tumble drier
- Reindeer rather than a slogan — nothing to be misread at work
- Thirty-four pounds is toward the top for a printed sweatshirt; a knit at that price lasts longer
Good if you want one comfortable festive top for the whole month. If the goal is winning something, an all-over print beats a chest graphic every time.
