Description
A printed jumper that imitates a light-up one, which is a more sensible idea than it first sounds.
The design is Christmas trees and strings of fairy lights printed across the whole garment. At a distance and in a photograph it reads as a properly decorated jumper. Up close it is obviously a print, and that is the deal you are making.
What you get in exchange is everything that goes wrong with real light-up jumpers not going wrong. No battery pack digging into your ribs, nothing to switch off during the speeches, nothing that dies at nine o'clock and leaves you in a plain jumper with a lump in the lining.
Choose this if
- You want the visual effect without maintaining a garment that runs on AA batteries
- You are going somewhere the jumper needs to survive a full day, including sitting down at a desk
- You want to put it straight in the washing machine afterwards
If you do want the real thing, read six things that go wrong with light-up Christmas jumpers first — most of it is avoidable, but only if you know about it in advance.
