Sizes 3 to 16 in one design, which is unusually wide for children's clothing.
That range solves a real problem. Families with children four or five years apart normally cannot buy the same jumper twice, and the sibling photograph ends up as two unrelated designs. This covers a nursery-age child and a fifteen-year-old, which almost nothing else does.
The all-over print is the other selling point. In a school hall full of chest graphics, a garment printed edge to edge is the one that gets picked out — and children mind about that considerably more than adults pretend to.
Before the day
- Size up if they are between sizes. Print-first brands cut close and children object to tight sleeves
- Printed polyester is light and slightly slick — some children dislike the feel, and a fleece sweatshirt is the safer choice if yours does
- Cool wash inside out, air dry; a tumble drier dulls a 3D print in one cycle
- Check the older sizes before buying for a teenager — 14 and 16 in children's ranges run small
Nineteen pounds is fair for the print quality. For a softer, cheaper option at the younger end, the DDSOL fleece sweatshirt is more comfortable and less striking.
