Blizzard Bay are best known for their light-up jumpers, and this is what the range looks like with the batteries left out.
It is a knitted Santa design — the pattern worked into the yarn rather than printed on top — with the ribbed cuffs and hem that real knitwear has and printed sweatshirts imitate. Without a light unit there is nothing to test, nothing to switch off and nothing to detach before washing.
That sounds like a downgrade and often is not. A light-up jumper is a decision you have to keep making all evening. This one you simply put on.
Worth knowing
- Acrylic knit — warm and durable, worth a t-shirt underneath
- Machine washable without any of the caveats that come with an electrical component
- Men's sizing, cut true; check the chest measurement as knit gives less than fleece
The traditional design is safe in any room — an office, a family lunch, a client event. Nothing to explain and nothing to justify.
