Description
Two sweatshirts, one joke, sold together.
Matching sets live or die on whether both people are actually in on it. Buy this only if you have asked. The failure mode is well documented and entirely avoidable: one half of the couple loves it, the other spends the evening quietly wishing they had worn anything else, and the photographs record exactly that.
Worth knowing
- Crewneck sweatshirt construction — printed graphic on fleece, not a knit. Comfortable, but the print will soften and crack with repeated washing
- Wash inside out and cold if you want a second December out of it
- $79.99 for two garments is fair for the format; it is not a bargain and it is not a rip-off
The advantage of the sweatshirt format over knitwear is comfort in a heated room. Knitted Christmas jumpers are genuinely too warm for an indoor party by mid-evening; fleece is not. If you are dancing, this is the more sensible fabric.
Other pairs worth comparing: I Come in Peace and this simpler matching set. Read matching jumpers in a new relationship first if you have been together under a year.
