Description
A raccoon at a concert, on a Christmas jumper, for five dollars. Nothing about this is normal.
Which is rather the appeal. The single most effective thing an ugly Christmas jumper can be is unexplainable — the jumpers people remember are the ones that make you ask what on earth is going on, and a raccoon at a gig comfortably clears that bar.
Before you order
- At $4.99 check what sizes remain. Prices this low usually mean a clearance listing rather than a bargain across the range
- Expect a light knit. This is not the jumper for standing outside at a carol service
- The Y2K styling means it also works as ordinary clothing in January, which almost nothing in this shop does
The honest risk with a five-dollar garment is that the fit or the fabric disappoints, and there is not much recourse at that price. The honest upside is that if it does work, you have got the most-commented-on jumper at the party for less than a pint.
If you like this kind of deliberately strange design, our piece on why Christmas jumpers all look the same explains why so few of them are.
