Description
A knitted Christmas jumper made across adult and children's sizing, intended to be worn as a set.
The genuinely useful thing here is that it is a knit and it covers the whole family. Most matching sets are printed sweatshirts, which look consistent in photographs and then quietly fall apart. A knit comes back out of the cupboard next year, and next year is where the tradition actually lives. At thirty dollars a piece, though, kitting out four people is a hundred and twenty — this is a decision, not an impulse.
Before the day
- Order everyone's size in one go; individual sizes sell out at different rates and a half-matching family looks worse than none
- Acrylic knit at this price will pill at the underarms — expected, not a defect
- Warmer than a printed sweatshirt, so consider what is underneath if the party is indoors
If you want the same idea with a hat included, look at the matching family knitted set. For couples rather than families, is it too soon to match? is worth two minutes.
