Description
Nineteen pounds for full-coverage digital print, which is the price point this technique exists to serve.
The reason all-over prints keep winning informal jumper competitions is not that the designs are better. It is that coverage reads as effort from across a room, while a chest graphic reads as a t-shirt with a picture on it. Digital printing puts the design over the whole garment for barely more than the cost of the blank.
The fabric is the compromise. Digital print needs polyester, polyester is thin, and thin is cold outdoors and clammy in a crowded pub. It is a party garment, not winter clothing.
Worth knowing
- One or two seasons of looking good, with cool washes inside out and no tumble drying
- Unisex sizing from a print-first brand runs small — check the chest measurement
- Light fabric: fine for a warm room, bring a coat for anything else
- Good option for kitting out a group where the total spend matters
Buy it for a specific event. If you want something that comes back out of the cupboard in 2030, spend the money on a knit instead.
