Predictability has a use. If you need a jumper for an office where a joke would be a misstep, a genuinely inoffensive design at under twenty dollars is the sensible answer, and there is no need to spend three times as much to achieve it.
Choose this if
- You need to take part without drawing attention
- You are buying for someone whose sense of humour you do not know at all
- You would rather have the money in your pocket than in a licensed knit
What it will not do: win anything, be remembered, or start a conversation. Judges reward excess and this is restraint. If a prize is the point, buy an all-over print or something with lights in it.
At $17.99 expect a printed graphic on fleece — comfortable in a heated room, good for two or three Decembers, and best washed cold and inside out. It will not last like a knit, and at this price it does not need to.
