Description
A two-part joke that is worth nothing on its own.
One sweatshirt reads "I come in peace", the other "I'm Peace". Worn separately, neither garment makes any sense at all, which is a real practical limitation: if one of you is late, working, or has gone home early, you are wearing a non-sequitur. Matching sets that survive this — where each half stands alone — are the better investment. This one does not.
Read the room
- It is mildly suggestive rather than genuinely rude, so it clears most workplace bars — but not all of them
- At a family Christmas with grandparents present, the joke will be explained aloud by someone, and that is worse than the joke
- Crewneck sweatshirt, so printed rather than knitted: comfortable indoors, but a limited number of washes before the print goes
Priced at $74.99 for the pair, it is in the normal range for printed couples sets. Buy it for a party you are attending together, not as a general December garment.
The same gag appears in Wild Custom Apparel's version, which is a few dollars cheaper. For the wider argument, see matching jumpers at the office party.
