Description
Eight dollars, and a Santa drawn like it is 1962.
The retro styling is doing real work here. A vintage-illustration Santa looks considered in a way that a modern cartoon one does not, and at a party full of identical mass-market prints, looking like you chose something is most of the battle. It also survives being photographed, which flat modern graphics often do not.
Worth knowing
- At $7.99 expect thin printed fleece and a single season of proper wear. That is what eight dollars buys, and it is not a criticism
- Check the sizing chart. Cheap listings are the ones most likely to run small, and there is limited recourse at this price
- Cold wash, inside out, from the very first wash
Where this makes sense: a Secret Santa, an office jumper day you found out about on Tuesday, or a second jumper so you are not photographed in the same one twice. Where it does not: as the jumper you keep.
If you want the retro look in something built to last, the shop's knitted options start around forty dollars and will still be going in a decade — see knitted or printed.
